Source: Russia zeroes anti-dumping duties on German, Italian LCVs
BRUSSELS, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- Russia has informed the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) dispute settlement body that it had lifted its anti-dumping duties on German and Italian light commercial vehicles (LCVs), a Genevan trade source familiar with the matter told reporters on Friday.
In March, the WTO rejected Russia’s appeal against the E.U.’s complaint over the duties and obliged Moscow to lift them as they violate rules of international trade.
“Russia informed the WTO dispute settlement body that it has lifted the anti-dumping measure imposed on vehicles imported from Germany and Italy after the WTO decided against these duties. The E.U. welcomed timely Russian efforts to implement this decision,” the source said.
